If you ever plan to visit Provence for your next holidays, don’t miss the opportunity to stay at la Malle Poste. The Luberon and its perched villages : Gordes, Fontaine de Vaucluse, Oppède le Vieux, Ménerbes, Roussillon, Lacoste, Bonnieux, Lourmarin… can be reached within 20 minutes drive. Don’t forget to drive to l’Isle sur la Sorgue very famous for its antique stores.

Cross the Durance and head towards the Alpilles to visit St Rémy de Provence (35km), Les Baux de Provence and its famous Carrière des Lumières.

Same direction, take a day to visit the ancient city of Arles (75km), then go further to Saintes-Maries-de-la-mer and Aigues-Mortes. You will have a nice overview of the Regional Natural Parc of Camargue.

A day out in the Verdon is inevitable. You will never forget the renowned Gorges du Verdon and the two lakes Sainte-Croix and Esparon. From mid-June to mid-July, you will have the unique opportunity to see the Valensole fields of lavender flower in full bloom. Don’t hesitate to offer yourself a flight in a microlight aircraft and overflight these outstanding landscapte : don’t forget your camera to capture the Gorges du Verdon and its surrounding from the sky.

The Mediterranean See is also easy to reach, the highway is 10 min from our place and will take you there in an hour.

Two possibilities :

  • West of Marseille : La Côte Bleue and its beaches Carry-le-Rouet , Sausset-les-Pins, Sainte-Croix…
  • East of Marseille : Cassis and its gorgeous Calanques.

 

Lastly, don’t forget to visit one of the most beautiful cities of Provence : Avignon and its famous Bridge and Palais des Pâpes 35km, Aix en Provence 45km, Orange and its ancient theatre, Marseille and its Vieux Port 70km, Arles 75km, and Nîmes 75km.
